Folks hit the ground running in Tulsa on Sunday morning. It was the second annual Route 66 Marathon.
The marathon got underway bright and early at 8 a.m.
Organizers say 6,000 people from around the world took part in this year's event. The 26-mile run ended with a celebration and concert at Veteran's Park.
