ADA, Okla. (AP) _ A man accused of causing the death of an East Central University football player now faces a murder charge.

Ammon Reich of Konawa, Oklahoma, is charged with first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the incident. He's accused of using his pickup truck to ram into the rear of another pickup near Ada, Oklahoma, early Sunday.

18-year-old Joseph Tusan of Arlington, Texas, was thrown from the bed of the truck and killed. Four others were thrown from the truck and injured and two remain hospitalized.

Police have said Reich and the group argued before the incident.
