Albert Wesley Brown, who was jailed for murder until DNA evidence cast doubt on his conviction, is going back to jail.

Brown pleaded guilty to drug and other charges and will spend time behind bars. Brown was sentenced to five years in prison for the drug felony in accordance with a plea deal.

In 1983, a jury found Brown guilty of drowning Earl Taylor in 1981. Brown was sentenced to life in prison, but was released in 2001 after forensic testing testimony linking him to the crime was found to be inaccurate.
