It could be some time before investigators figure out what caused a fire at a south Tulsa Apartment complex.

Crews arrived at the Eagle Point Apartments near 72nd and Sheridan Monday afternoon, and found it on fire.

It’s believed the fire started on a second floor balcony. 2 units were destroyed and six others damaged.

The Red Cross is helping them find food and shelter. The apartment complex is also working to relocate them to vacant units.

Even though no one was physically injured in this fire, some are going through the emotional pain of losing their most prized possessions. Resident Angela Liggans: "I left work and came and this is what I came home to. Everything I owned was in there."

No one was hurt in the fire. Crews did rescue a pet lizard and a puppy which was given oxygen on the scene.
