Creek County sheriff Steve Toliver says four valuable portraits are missing from the courtroom of retired District Judge Donald Thompson.
Thompson retired amid allegations of sexual misconduct during trials. All of the portraits were in his courtroom.
They are of former Presidents Truman and Franklin Roosevelt, Oklahoma humorist Will Rogers and General Robert -E- Lee.
Thompson denies taking the paintings. The portraits had been in the courthouse since the 1960s.
