EAGLETOWN, Okla. (AP) _ Two people were killed Saturday in a collision in McCurtain County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 34-year-old Stephanie Alexander of Eagletown and 50-year-old Jimmie Rutz of Broken Bow were killed in the head-on crash.
Troopers say the collision occurred shortly before 7 pm on U-S 70 in Eagletown. Alexander's pickup truck swerved to miss a slow-moving vehicle, veered across the center line and struck Rutz's oncoming car.
The patrol says the collision is still under investigation.
