MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minnesota right tackle Mike Rosenthal signed a six-year contract extension with the Vikings on Saturday.
Rosenthal is in his second season with the Vikings, who play their first regular-season game Sunday against Dallas. He's in the final year of a two-year contract he signed before the 2003 season. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
Rosenthal, a fifth-round draft choice of the New York Giants in 1999, started every game for the Vikings last season.
With Rosenthal's extension, four of Minnesota's five offensive line starters - left tackle Bryant McKinnie, left guard Chris Liwienski and centre Matt Birk - are signed through at least the 2006 season.
