FRISCO, Texas (AP) _ Jason Bourgeois' grand slam home run in the fourth inning put the game out of reach as Frisco beat Tulsa 10-3 to eliminate the Drillers from the Texas League playoffs.
The Drillers had managed to get within one, 2-1, after Juan Piniella's base hit to left field scored Ryan Shealy in the fourth Thursday night.
But Tydus Meadows' one-out homer widened the RoughRiders' avantage to 3-1, and Frisco loaded the bases just in time for Bourgeois' big hit.
The grand slam gave the RoughRiders a 7-1 that they extended to 10-1 in the seventh.
The Drillers added a couple of consolation runs in the 8th inning on Danny Sandoval's two-run home run.
Frisco starting pitcher Edwin Moreno recorded the win, allowing six hits and one run in six innings of work.
Tim Bausher suffered the loss, surrendering six hits, two walks and nine runs in 3 2/3 innings.
The RoughRiders go on to meet Round Rock in the Texas League Championship series.
