OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The interim director of the state Tourism Department is resigning later this month.

Ralph McCalmont says he'll step down September 15th and will then lead a state task force studying the economic impact of historic preservation.

Tourism Department chief of staff Robb Gray will oversee day-to-day operations until a new director is chosen.
