A couple of southwestern Oklahoma jail escapees are behind bars.
Acting on a Crimestoppers tip, Tulsa Police were called to a home near Apache and Harvard around 2:30 AM Wednesday. Authorities say three men escaped from the Beckham County jail in Sayre Tuesday and made their way to Tulsa.
Tulsa Police Sgt Shawn King: "We arrested 2 tonight. We’ve got a third subject that is still outstanding".
Authorities aren't sure if the third suspect came to Tulsa with the other two, but are following leads. Police recovered the stolen car the men used to get to Tulsa.
All three were in the Beckham County jail for non-violent crimes.
