Tulsa sex crimes detectives are investigating a brutal rape of a 65 year old woman near 1300 East 51st Street North.

The victim says the assault occurred Thursday evening. "I was upset; I didn't know what was going on. I was begging. I even said 'there's a checkbook out in my car, let me go get it and I'll give you whatever you want.'"

She says she was terrified when her attacker turned his attention on her 17 year-old grand-daughter.

Tulsa Police say the victims did everything right, but it didn't protect them from a brutal assault they'll never forget.
