One person is dead following an auto pedestrian accident in Broken Arrow.

69-year-old Joyner Jackson was hit by a car around 9 PM Sunday. He just finished talking to a wrecker driver who stopped to help him when he turned and walked into the path of the car. Jackson was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he died.

The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.
