Governor Brad Henry says he could decide as early as next week whether to ask for Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher's resignation.

Henry says he'll revisit the issue after an impeachment committee makes its recommendation. The panel will convene next Wednesday to consider testimony and documents from previous meetings.

Fisher has said repeatedly he will not resign. He faces felony chares of embezzlement and operating a charity illegally. A multi-county grand jury also recently indicted him.
