Drumright man accused of making telephone bomb threat

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A federal grand jury has indicted a Drumright man for allegedly telephoning a bomb threat at an oil-processing plant in Cushing, according to U.S. Attorney Robert G. McCampbell.

Jamie Lee Endicott, 28, is accused of calling the Cushing Daily Citizen newspaper on July 7 and saying there was a bomb at the South Plains oil-processing plant.

Endicott worked for pipeline Marketing Company in Cushing, which owns South Plains and he believed he was treated unfairly because he was repeatedly assigned to perform lawn care work, the indictment said.

PMC is one of ten oil companies that move crude oil through the Cushing pipeline system, handling about 40 percent of the crude oil that moves from the Gulf Coast to the Midwestern United States.

Endicott faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted, McCampbell said.
