Police in California are investigating the murder of a Tulsa man. It happened in Berkeley on Monday.

23-year old Val Cooper was shot several times in the chest and shoulder at close range. No one has been arrested and police don't know a motive for the killing. This was the third homicide in less than a month that happened within one mile.

Police haven't said whether the killings are connected.
