MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- The former administrator of a McAlester nursing home is sentenced today to 36 months of probation on a federal forgery charge.
Kimberly Kay Horan pleaded guilty in February to one count of uttering a forged US Treasury check.
Federal investigators say Horan forged checks that were made payable to a resident at the Sunbridge Park Nursing Home in McAlester, where she worked.
Horan was also ordered to pay more than $14,000 in restitution and is prohibited from working at a nursing home or caring for senior citizens.
