STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- The search for a new dean of agriculture at Oklahoma State University is starting over.

A search committee had narrowed a list of applicants to four, but say they were unable to reach of consensus.

A memo to faculty, staff and students says none of the candidates have the broad-based support needed to succeed.

The committee plans to resume its search after fall classes start and hopes to make a selection by January.

The dean oversees the agriculture college, the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service and the Oklahoma Agricultural Experiment Station.
