A 2-month old baby girl, who Tulsa Police say had been horribly abused, died Friday.

Child crisis detectives arrested Mishana Whiten[pictured], the child's mother, Monday on a complaint of injury to a minor child.

They arrested Teddy Jefferson for the same charge; detectives say he was home with the baby while the mother was at work.

Police say the baby was taken to a hospital with a skull fracture, multiple rib fractures and a ruptured intestine.
