What some people thought was a bomb in a Tulsa apartment complex near 85 East 63rd Street, turned out to be something much more mundane.

It was a box used to monitor a man who's awaiting trial on marijuana charges. He and a friend got into a scuffle and he took off running and left behind the box that he must carry that monitors his ankle bracelet.

When people heard the box beeping, they feared the worst and called Tulsa Police. An alarm also sounded with the man's caseworker when the man got 125 feet about from his box. The caseworker tracked it to the Tulsa Police Department and then to the police property room, he now has it back.

The man is a non-violent offender who's had no previous problems while being monitored.
