An apparent murder-suicide in Tulsa remains under investigation. Tulsa Police have released the names of the victims in Monday night's incident.

They believe it was a murder-suicide and the result of a "lovers quarrel". They say it appears that Joe Gartrell and Jordan Grammer went to a home near 61st and Garnett where they got into an altercation with Michael Nelson.

Police say during that time Grammer was hit in the head with a hammer but was able to make it out of the home. Tulsa Police Captain Tracie Crocker: "The victim after he was hit on the head, ran out of this house, went down the street to another house, and they ended up having calling 911."

When police arrived at the home, they found Gartrell and Nelson dead with a rifle lying next to them. They say it appears one shot the other then turned the gun on himself after the other young man left the home.

Neighbors say they didn't hear anything unusual. They say the men were quiet and kept to themselves.
