A 24-year old Tulsa man is in the hospital after he was hit by a car, while crossing I-44 late Sunday night.

It happened around 11 PM near Yale and I-44. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol was called about a man in the middle of the highway jumping into traffic. Before they could get there, a woman in a car headed westbound hit the man.

She told OHP troopers he stepped right in front of her. She wasnâ€™t injured.

Christopher Logan was rushed to the hospital. His condition has not been released.

Authorities say the victim may have been drinking.
