(Edmond-AP) -- Deer Creek school officials have a hefty bill on their hands.
It's going to cost between $600,000 and $1-million to repair storm damage at Deer Creek High School East, near Edmond.
The roofs at the school, the gymnasium and the cafeteria were ripped off, and the district's athletic fields were damaged in severe thunderstorms May 29th.
Officials say insurance should pay for the repairs.
They want to repair two scoreboards, a fence and field lights, plus remove debris.
Officials issued a declaration of emergency earlier this month so the administration can skip the bidding process and immediately get a contract to get the damage repaired.
