A standoff in Tulsa County near Turley comes to a end when deputies find the suspect dead.

The Tulsa County Sheriffâ€™s Office says narcotics officers were serving a warrant Friday afternoon when the suspect apparently opened fire on deputies. Members of a drug task force returned fire as the suspect fled into the residence in the 6300 block of North Garrison.

Authorities surrounded the trailer and called in a special operations team. Shortly before 5 PM, deputies entered the trailer and found the suspect dead.

The name of the suspect is not being released pending notification of next of kin.

An investigation into the incident continues. The sheriff's office says they are trying to determine if the suspect died when deputies shot at the suspect or if the fatal wound was self inflicted.
