Part of the Broken Arrow Expressway is closed right now after a small section of a bridge fell onto the road below. One eastbound lane of the B-A near 15th and Atlanta is closed to traffic. The hole in the bridge is relatively small but firefighters and police are diverting drivers until the hole can be dealt with. A recent national study ranked Oklahoma among the worst states in the nation when it comes to the percentage of substandard bridges. Thirty-three percent are considered structurally deficient, the greatest number here in Tulsa.
