Folks in Tulsa are gearing up for Campaign 2004 by encouraging procrastinators to register to vote before time runs out.
Representatives from both parties, the mayor's office and the city council rallied Thursday to spread the word that Democratic and Republican primaries are right around the corner. They say that while technology makes voting quick and easy, having the polls crowded would be a dream come true.
Elaine Dodd with the Tulsa County Democratic Party: "If there are going to be lines at the polls, which would be the best news that we could hear about Oklahoma and Tulsa County, because it's been a long time since we've experienced lines at our polling sites."
The last day to register for the primaries is July 2nd.
