(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Governor Brad Henry says the passage of three state questions in November is critical to the state's future.
Voters will consider measures to allow electronic gaming at horse tracks, create a state lottery that would fund education and increase the tobacco tax to fund health care.
The governor says the economy is on an upswing in Oklahoma, but voters must pass the three measures to really make a difference.
Henry says Oklahoma has plenty to be proud of -- including cutting-edge health research at the University of Oklahoma and the national weather center being built in Norman.
He says Oklahoma is "an incredible, awesome state" but for some reason remains one of the best kept secrets.
The governor says more should be done to let others know what Oklahoma has to offer.
