(Sallisaw, Oklahoma-AP) -- An Arkansas teenager has drowned in eastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 16-year-old Kyle McGuire of Fort Smith drowned in Lee Creek in Sequoyah County about 8:30 Tuesday night.

Troopers say McGuire jumped from a bridge on State Highway 101 into about 18 feet of water and never resurfaced.
