An electrical problem is probably the cause of a fire at the Community Church of Collinsville early Thursday morning. It's the second such fire in a month in Collinsville.

Fire crews were called to the church about 3 AM Thursday after reports of smoke in the area. It took them a couple of hours to get the fire under control.

About three-fourths of the church at 14th and Oak is destroyed. The only part of the building that was saved was the sanctuary.

No cause has been determined for the first church fire last month.
