An early Wednesday morning police chase has landed one person in the Tulsa County jail.

Tulsa Police tried to stop the driver of a car at about 12th and Quincy. But the driver sped off. It ended when the suspect hit a pole, he did manage to run off.

Officers chased him and he was arrested. The suspect wasn't seriously hurt. One officer suffered a twisted ankle in the foot chase, but he'll be okay.

The man told police the car belonged to a friend; it had just been purchased Tuesday.
