(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The widow of a soldier killed in Iraq last year has been chosen to receive a grant from the Fallen Patriot Fund.

RaeLynn Rehn of Broken Arrow accepted the grant Tuesday morning in Dallas with her young daughter, Megan.

The fund was set up by the Mark Cuban Foundation to help families of US military personnel who were killed or seriously injured during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Rehn's husband, Army Sergeant First Class Randall Scott Rehn, was killed in friendly fire near the Baghdad International Airport in April 2003. Rehn grew up in Longmont, Colorado.
