(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma State golfers are in first place after the opening round of the men's NCAA Central Regional in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The Cowboys shot a one-under-par 287 Thursday.
Texas A&M is in second, and Purdue is in third.
Oklahoma is tied for 13th with a score of 305.
Tulsa is tied for 20th with a score of 314.
Twenty-seven teams are competing in the regional.
The top ten teams and top two individuals after Saturday's final round will advance to the NCAA championships June 1st through 4th in Hot Springs, Virginia.
