Here's some encouraging news for the state of Oklahoma. Revenue collections last month were way up, compared to a year ago.

Preliminary figures just released show last month's collections were $526-million. That's up nearly 7% from April 2003.

Net income tax, state sales tax, and motor vehicle tax collections all came in above estimates.
