A patriotic initiative became a reality Tuesday in Broken Arrow. After two years of planning and raising funds, the business owners and employees of 6100 Center dedicated the "Wall of Resolve."

The $25,000 monument recognizes all five branches of the United States Armed Forces. It is also the first military monument in Oklahoma completely designed and funded by local business owners.

The monument was ceremoniously dedicated by Brigadier General Gary Bray, who is proud of the men and women of the armed forces. "Since September 11th 2001, there has been a tremendous surge of patriotism in the form of new enlistments."

The business owners say that they were inspired by the men and women who participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
