Record-high gas prices in Oklahoma have Green Country drivers searching for a bargain. Checking the gas gauge, drivers are still reeling from this week's price hike.
On average, a gallon of gas is a $1.88. That has many folks cutting back on their driving, and lining up at the pumps for bargain gas.
The Flying-J Truck Stop is selling gas at a $1.72 a gallon. They tell us they've been slammed for three days, with cars five or six cars deep at the pumps. Customer Dearld Smith: "The only questions I want to ask is how can Flying-J sell it for 1.72 and everybody else sells it for 1.88. Look at the pumps. That's the question."
The Flying-J says its gas is cheaper because the company owns its tankers and refineries. Other filling stations wouldn't talk about their gas prices.
