(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Fees for entrance to areas at three state parks will be charged beginning June 1st.
State Tourism and Recreation officials say day-use fees will be charged at the Little Axe area at Lake Thunderbird, Rooster Creek at Lake Texoma and Elephant Rock at Lake Murray.
The fee will be $3 for each vehicle, including motorcycles, while pedestrians and bicycle riders will be charged 50 cents.
A bill approved by the Legislature last year allows the fees with the money to be used for park improvements and maintenance.
