An Owasso neighborhood that has a history of flooding could have the problem solved soon.

The Preston Lakes subdivision has a street that floods almost anytime there's a heavy, fast rain. At one mans' house, the water was a high as the mailbox. The problem is drain lines that are too small.

That's a mistake made before any homes were built. Developer David Charney: “they’re going to take those pipes and expand them and extend them about a thousand feet south down a creek to make sure a backwater issue that caused some street problems is resolved.”

Work will start in 10 days to repair things. And it won't cost residents any money.
