A 3-month-old Haskell County boy is fighting for his life and his parents are behind bars for his injuries.

Authorities say Cewanee Steele is accused of hitting his son in the head. The infant's mother, Christy Woodard, is charged with failing to protect the boy.

Doctors say the child is on life-support and will likely suffer long-term health problems.
