(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Democratic Congressman Brad Carson collected nearly $718,000 in the first three months this year to lead all candidates in the race to replace retiring US Senator Don Nickles.

Former Oklahoma City Mayor Kirk Humphreys raised about $630,000 to lead Republicans. But Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Bob Anthony and former Congressman Tom Coburn entered the race midway through the three-month period.Anthony raised about $330,000 and loaned his campaign $120,000. Coburn raised $38,000 in two weeks.

Humphreys, Anthony and Coburn will face each other in the Republican primary.

Totals for Monte Johnson were not available. He'll face Carson in the Democratic primary. Both primaries are July 27th.
