(Benton, Arkansas-AP) -- The husband of a Del City woman has been killed in Iraq.

US Army Sergeant Bill Labadie was killed Wednesday, just 15 days after his deployment.

The 45-year-old Labadie had been living with his parents, Carl and Cheryl Winters, in Bauxite, Arkansas, before his deployment.

He's also survived by wife Sunnie, of Del City, and son Bryan.

Cheryl Winters said today the family doesn't' have a lot of details after an Army chaplain came to their doorstep last night. He told them that Labadie was shot in the chest and died in a hospital.

The Winters say Labadie had trained for 22 years to serve his country in battle and it was -- quote -- ``where he wanted to be.''
