Wagoner County investigators are looking for thieves who've made off with cattle. Cases of cattle theft are up by as much as 20% in eastern Oklahoma, mainly because the cost of beef is still high.
Rancher Johnny Lamon had five cows and three calves stolen in the past week. It amounts to thousands of dollars in losses. "The tracks are still here.
Some of these tracks were their tracks and you can see where they just drove down there, drove around and backed right up to the chute there." An $8,000 reward is being offered.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Wagoner County Sheriff's office.
