STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State's Scott Kirby went a perfect 3-3 at the plate with two RBIs as the Cowboys beat Texas A&M 7-2 on Saturday.
The Cowboys' Josh Fields broke open the scoreless tie in the third with an RBI single up the middle to score Rod Allen.
Oklahoma State (20-10, 3-2 Big 12) cushioned the lead after Texas A&M left-fielder Andrew Baldwin's error scored Fields and Rusty Ryal. Kirby's double down the right foul line scored Jason Jaramillo.
Texas A&M (25-8, 3-5) could not score many runs despite hitting off of Spencer Grogan 10 times. John Infante hit the only two RBIs for the Aggies with a home run in the sixth.
Grogan (7-1) pitched the Cowboys' second straight complete game for the win. Zach Jackson (6-2) was credited with the loss for Texas A&M with seven strike outs, eight hits and five earned runs.
