(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The state Education Department says the number of computers in Oklahoma schools is at an all-time high.
A department report says there is now about one computer for every three public school students in the state. The report also says nearly every classroom in the state's 541 districts has Internet access.
Education officials say they were worried that state budget cuts would limit spending on technology. But they say most Oklahoma districts qualified last year of millions of dollars in federal money to buy computers and software.
