(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Western Oklahoma is under consideration as a possible site for a spaceport.

Virginia-based Space Adventures says it's looking at several locations worldwide, including the Clinton-Sherman Industrial Airpark in Burns Flat.

Space Adventures is the company that arranged for two millionaire tourists to travel to the International Space Station aboard a Russian spacecraft.

Space Adventures president Eric Anderson says the company plans to offer sub-orbital flights and space flight training center.

A bill to regulate the space tourism industry is making its way through the U-S Senate's Commerce Committee.
