A Tulsa couple will stand trial for the death of their 8-month-old son who burned to death on a floor furnace.

At a preliminary hearing, a detective testified that Jeannie Henderson said her toddler woke her up during the incident. Her husband, Jerry Marten, testified that the baby's screaming woke him up.

Both face second-degree murder charges from the December death. Prosecutors claim Jeannie Henderson and Jerry Marten could not hear Christian Marten's cries because they were passed out from using meth.

The couple's attorneys say the death was an accident.
