(McAlester, Oklahoma-AP) -- Prosecutors in the murder trial of Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols are trying to limit testimony by a death row inmate.
They have filed a motion to limit testimony by defense witness David Paul Hammer.
Hammer served alongside bombing conspirator Timothy McVeigh on death row at an Indiana prison.
He's expected to say that McVeigh told him Nichols helped store explosives, but didn't participate in the 1995 bombing.
Prosecutors say Hammer's testimony would open the door to any ``enemy of law enforcement'' seeking to poison evidence heard by a jury.
Nichols -- a former Lapeer County man -- is already serving a life sentence for killing eight federal law enforcement officers.
