An Arkansas teenager is thrown from her car and dies in a crash on U-S Highway 69 in eastern Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Amber Monks of Van Buren lost control of her car while trying to pass slower traffic southbound U-S 69 around 4:50 p-m yesterday three miles south of Eufaula.
