The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is trying to solve a cash machine caper. Authorities say two bill changing machines were stolen on February 19th around 3 AM from the east toll plaza on the north leg of the Creek Turnpike.
Investigators say it's a bold crime since the bill changing machines are not something a person could just easily cart away. OHP trooper George Brown: "Someone with a truck with maybe a Tommy lift or a truck with a 12 to 14 foot trailer with a dolly and some type of compression wrench."
Authorities say the recent thefts fit the same MO as several recent ATM thefts. They say this man's photo was taken during a recent ATM theft attempt where he used a saw on the machine; he's been questioned but not yet arrested.
