One of Tulsa's legendary entertainers has died after a battle with cancer. Along with artists like Leon Russell and JJ Cale, Debbie Campbell helped shape what became known as the "Tulsa Sound".
She traveled the world, released several albums, starred in area musicals, and taught her craft to young performers. She even co-hosted "6 In The Morning" from time to time with Rick Wells. Debbie Campbell was 53 years old.
Services will be held at Christ United Methodist Church on Wednesday.
