(Washington-AP) -- The US Labor Department is investigating prescription-benefits manager Express Scripts concerning possible violations of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
St. Louis-based Express Scripts says Wednesday it received a letter from the Labor Department earlier this month informing the company of the investigation.
Express Scripts says it will cooperate with the investigation. The company says it believes its business practices do follow the necessary laws and regulations.
