The bodies of a Tulsa couple have been recovered from the wreckage of their plane.

The plane went down sometime Monday in Wilcox County, which is in southwest Alabama. The actual crash site is dense. Sheriff's officials say the bodies of Robert and Margaret Compton were discovered after a pilot found the fuselage.

Compton founded Tulsa's Spot-Not Car Wash chain in 1981. He sold the company's 12 locations last year.

The couple was returning to Tulsa from a vacation in Florida at the time of the crash.
